" Visitors praise the lake ecology exhibits and the lakeside setting; lines can be lengthy during peak season; restrooms are not inside the main building and dining options are limited"

Lots of information, nice book selection. Right on the shore of Yellowstone Lake with an amazing view and beach access. Washrooms are not in the building, look for the signs! Unfortunately like most places in the park not dog friendly.

Love the taxidermy wildlife display. Lots of local birds you'll see in Yellowstone, and the kids found it very informative. There's a small gift shop as well. There's a beach outback against Yellowstone lake where you can walk around and explore as well. The visitor's center also has a sign board explaining the "parkitecture" build style found throughout the park.

Busy but quaint. Wonderful beach! The beach alone is worth the stop. The staff and lecturer were very friendly and helpful.
