West Yellowstone's Book Peddler & Coffee Cafe blends a curated books-and-goods assortment with a cafe, all run by the owner and family. The shop leans on Montana-made items and Yellowstone-themed merchandise, with staff who know the local story and products. Prices sit at budget to mid-range, and cafe extras (like dairy-free milk) add small upcharges; day-old baked goods can soften the value equation. The core idea is a local, book-and-bite experience tied to Yellowstone.
Yellowstone-themed merchandise and Montana-made gifts; the shop’s signature fusion is Yellowstone books and region-specific goods.
Books, home decor, Yellowstone-themed merchandise, apparel, and cafe items (sandwiches, soups, baked goods).
Late morning to early afternoon, when fresh baked goods and new reads are available and the cafe is active.

Asian guy was very friendly and they had lots of great coffee options. So much better than the other shop before here which used mostly water instead of milk; only thing is they charged for hot water. I don’t think we’ve been charged for that in years. lol but they have to make money we guess. Thanks for at least having good coffee!!!

Delicious breakfast and coffee. Ordered a day old orange marmalade scone that was absolutely scrumptious. Highly recommend this lovely little local spot that also has cute gifts and great book selection. ☺️
