A single wooden chickee platform stands against a towering red mangrove forest on the Little Shark River, 0.3 miles south of WW marker #6. How To Get There
Accessible by boat, canoe, or kayak from the Everglades Wilderness Waterway (approach via Little Shark River, 0.3 miles south of WW marker #6) or the Labyrinth route from the southeast. Access possible at all tides but requires careful navigation due to strong tidal currents. Flamingo Marina is the nearest reliable launch point.

Joe River Chickee

Mahogany Hammock
