Lexington Arch

Natural Attraction
Large 200 foot limestone arch on the side of a canyon

Towering above Lexington Canyon floor, this striking limestone arch creates an unusual geological spectacle—most western natural arches form in sandstone, but Lexington Arch's limestone composition hints at a different origin story. Evidence suggests this arch may have once been a passage in an underground cave system, with flowstone deposits at its base offering silent testimony to subterranean water activity. Weather has carved this formation over centuries, gradually sculpting the limestone into the graceful span visible today.
