From the summit, a 360-degree panorama unfurls across Glacierβs jagged skyline. Exposed cliff faces reveal ancient sedimentary layers and rugged ridges. This scene is the product of tectonic uplift along the Lewis Overthrust, with glaciers sculpting the peak over millennia. The summit sits at 7,835 feet, rewarding the strenuous climb with sweeping views.

Hard climb basically straight up 2.5 miles. Took us 9 hours total up and back. Great views the whole time. Definitely bring trekking poles. It took these 5 pictures at the top just to get all the scenery.

The first mile was relatively flat. After the turn-off, the next 2.5 miles was steady up. 3000 ft. It took me 3 hours without stopping. Plan on 4-5 hrs.
