It's $175 a night in off-peak times. It's not luxury, but the pool is big and the free breakfast hits after geyser chasing. You're a short drive from the West Yellowstone entrance, and family-friendly rooms help the crew sleep after a long day. We take those.
1) Free continental breakfast gets you moving. 2) You're about 3 minutes from the West Yellowstone park gate. 3) Leave by 6:45 AM to beat crowds.

Total rooms: 79 across Standard (two full beds or two queen beds), King Rooms, Family Suites, and Family Apartment Suites. A heated indoor pool and a hot tub provide time indoors for families. The property sits close to the highway, so road noise can be noticeable; guests seeking a quieter, more upscale setting may want to plan accordingly.

Not a Ritz, but a solid budget base near the park with a big pool and free breakfast. Family-friendly and convenient, though you may hear road noise from the highway. For the price, it delivers.

Great location and service, but elevator issues were frustratingMy wife and I stayed here for several nights during our Yellowstone trip, and overall it was a solid choice with one major frustration. The location is absolutely perfect - right at the west entrance to the park, which made getting into Yellowstone super convenient each morning. The hotel itself is comfortable and clean, with friendly staff who were genuinely helpful with park recommendations and local tips. Our room was spacious and well-appointed, perfect for relaxing after long days of exploring geysers and wildlife viewing. The on-site amenities were nice too, and having restaurants and shops within walking distance was really convenient. However, I have to mention the elevator situation - and this was a big deal for us! The elevators were completely out of order for our entire stay until literally the day we checked out. If you’re staying on upper floors with luggage, this becomes a real problem. We ended up hauling our bags up and down multiple flights of stairs every day, which was exhausting after already hiking around Yellowstone all day.The staff was apologetic about it and did their best to help, but it was still a significant inconvenience. On the positive side, we definitely got our daily exercise in!Despite the elevator drama, the location and overall experience were good enough that we’d consider staying here again - just hopefully with working elevators next time! 🏨🎒

The location was great as it was only a few miles away from the West Yellowstone National Park entrance. The best part of was the customer service, front desk staff. All were extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the area. I was impressed with Linda (although we never met her as it was a phone call) that was helpful to us the day before our arrival. Steve and Sharon were the greatest to see every evening upon our arrival from Yellowstone. They were very polite, friendly and loved to carry on conversations with us. We looked forward to seeing them each day. The rooms were nice and comfortable as a hotel should be. If we’re ever back this way, we know where to stay.

We enjoyed our stay at Yellowstone Westgate Hotel. Our room was large, clean and comfortable. Their computers went down right while they were checking me in. They were kind enough to get me in a room and send me on my way instead of making me wait. I went back later to complete my check in. The couple that helped me were from MD and they were very friendly and helpful! They made sure I had a first floor accommodation close to the entrance for my dad because he has a hard time walking. I really appreciate they allow dogs and at the time of our stay there was NO extra charge for pets! That’s a plus because some places want $100 for my 2 - 7 lb dogs. They have a nice breakfast available in the morning. There are a few areas outside with tables and chairs to sit at for eating or just relaxing. We’d definitely stay there again! Thanks for your hospitality!
