It's a rustic lodge just minutes from the West Yellowstone entrance. You get kitchen-equipped rooms and fireplaces, which punch above the price you pay. The place oozes Yellowstone history, built around 1907-1908, with simple comforts and free parking. It's not flashy, but it's real value in a prime location.
Coffee verdict: use the in-room coffee maker or walk to a local cafe for a quick caffeine fix. Drive time to the gate is a short, roughly 5-minute ride. Leave around 7:30 AM to beat the later crowds and start your park day strong.

This little cabin was AWESOME!!! We wished we could’ve stayed here longer- it was spacious & perfect for our family of 5 (3 kids- ages 8,6,4). The woman working there was SO kind & helpful! This cabin was a perfect stay for visiting Yellowstone! It was so clean (something I notice & appreciate!)

Then Yellowstone Inn is located with a few miles of the opening of the park! It’s clean, quiet and safe. The owner is very knowledgeable , he will recommend all the best places to eat and see in town as well. The rooms are. Very quaint and decorated nicely. Rooms book fast, so book early for next season!

Overall a great stay! You cannot beat the location - West Yellowstone is so close to the park. Check in and out was a breeze! The cabin was very basic but clean. The window in our cabin only had a sheer curtain which let in a lot of light. The walls between the cabins are paper thin so definitely be praying for quiet neighbors. While the shower had great hot water and pressure, it was incredibly small.
