We just returned from a visit to Glacier National Park and stayed in one of the cabins in West Glacier/RV park for three nights. Our cabin experience was excellent. The cabins are modern and clean. There are balconies with chairs for relaxing. The camp store even offered delicious Montana brewed coffee all day. The access to West Glacier and town can not be beat. I would look no further than these sweet little cabins for your visit to Glacier.

We stayed in Apgar Village in a cabin and found the area terrific. Easy access to Going to the Sun Rd, and a quaint small street with shops a restaurant and a few ice cream places. Located on lake McDonald we took a motorboat out and saw Eagles nesting along the shore not far away. Our favorite hike was Trail of Cedars up to Avalanche lake. We did not see thwm but 2 bears were seen before we got there.

Property was cute and quaint, right outside of Glacier National Park. Pictures were deceiving as there was no view of lake from cabins. In addition, there’s a train track VERY nearby and makes peace impossible from the sound of the train all day and night. Finally, there’s a $250 non negotiable damage deposit for the cabins that was not stated in Expedia at all and once you arrive, the cost of your stay is nonrefundable so if you do not have the money for the deposit, you’ll lose the money for your stay as well. We just want other families to be aware. This cost is in case you damage anything, of course, but would have liked to know these details before reserving.
