Video intro: The Lodge at Whitefish Lake sets a lakeside standard with rustic-chic rooms, a spa, marina, and an award-winning dining scene. It sits on Whitefish Lake just outside Glacier National Park, with a private beach and multiple pools. It’s not a budget stay—the lakefront rooms and spa days justify the cost. The game plan: book lakefront early, lock in peak-season dates, and savor the quiet luxury.
Coffee verdict: Boat Club breakfasts are solid; if you crave a stronger brew, grab a local cafe. Drive to the park gate: about 45 minutes. Leave by 6:15–6:30 AM to beat crowds and catch sunrise over the lake.
✅ BOOK IF: You want a luxury lakeside escape with spa, marina vibes, and fine dining. ❌ SKIP IF: You are budget-focused or want a barebones stay.

Great mountain atmosphere, awesome food and VERY kind staff. The entertainment in the rooms just needs to be updated. The TV’s are outdated and I recommend they offer something else aside from Direct TV. There is no ability to stream to the TV’s or use streaming services. Aside from that, The Lodge is the best place to stay in Whitefish for families and has very nice pools/saunas.

Just wrapped up a stay at the beautiful Lodge at Whitefish Lake. The hotel and rooms are lovely and cozy. The service is top notch. The food and drinks in the hotel restaurant/bar were delicious. The shuttle service, s'mores by the fire, and daily happy hour champagne with huckleberry syrup were such nice added touches. Highly recommend!

Short and sweet: I would highly recommend The Lodge to everyone I know — the price point is absolutely worth the experience.Longer review:As a solo traveler, I like to see how well places accommodate a single guest, and The Lodge did an absolutely outstanding job! • Valet: They set the tone right away with a warm greeting and super helpful service. The only tiny miss was not opening the door a couple of times when my hands were full. • Front Desk: Every staff member I spoke with went above and beyond for my quirky requests and random questions. They even helped me print documents and mail them — truly above and beyond. • Room: Spotless, well-stocked, lights on upon arrival, and a great view. The king bed was comfortable, the pillow selection was excellent, and the little teddy bear on the bed was a thoughtful touch. • Restaurant / Room Service: I ordered plenty of room service, and everything arrived within 20 minutes, fresh and warm. (Just a heads up — there’s a 20% automatic service charge.) • Pool: Despite the pool area being busy, the server managed it perfectly. They didn’t hover, but the moment I made eye contact, they were right there to help. Great balance of attentiveness! • Boat House: Hats off to the staff member who convinced me to rent a jet ski — it ended up being a highlight of the trip.Overall, I cannot wait to come back. The Lodge delivered an incredible experience across the board.
