We stayed in late September at the end of our Yellowstone trip. The hotel is very clean, beds are very comfortable, the room was spacious with plenty of lightbulbs (one of my pet peeves is dark hotel rooms). We ladies felt safe here. The front desk clerk was full of info and directions and maps. The laundry room looked clean and spacious although we didn't use it.

Our stay was almost perfect. There are never enough towels for my family (girls have long hair & need an extra). But the awesome Dominick at the front desk helped us out with speed & humor. But, to be fair, this hotel started with more than the average one, so that was really nice (and they're so fluffy!).The only 2 things that would have made this room perfect: detachable shower head & a curtain/door/wall blocking sleeping area from bathroom area. The bathroom is small & a tad difficult to shower & dress without opening the door. That lack of additional space/privacy is what makes this 4 stars instead of 5. (Okay, we miss a free continental breakfast too).Overall, we were happy with our stay!

We stayed at The Antler Lodge, located right at the North Gate of Yellowstone, and had a wonderful experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and perfectly situated for exploring the park—but what truly made our stay unforgettable was the incredible kindness of Tom, the night shift staff. We always bring homemade food on road trips for our son, as he isn’t used to eating outside food. One night, we ran out of food, and I asked Tom if any restaurants nearby were still open. He went above and beyond—kindly guided us to one of the few places still open late, helping me find something for my son to eat. What touched us most was his generosity. When he saw our situation, he even offered noodles from his own home. My son loved them so much that Tom offered to bring more from his house across the street! That level of kindness, honesty, and humanity is rare to find. He truly went the extra mile. If you're visiting Yellowstone, I highly recommend staying at The Antler Lodge—and if you’re lucky enough to meet Mr. Tom, know that you’re in good hands. He’s a lifesaver. Thank you, Tom!
