Best time to visit Haymoon Resort is mid-July through August—the weather is warm, days are long, and Glacier NP trails and lakes are in full operation for prime hiking and boating conditions (this is the park’s peak season). If you’d rather dodge the crowds, aim for late June or early September when the weather is still good and wildlife viewing can be excellent, though some services and road openings may be more limited. Winter visits are possible but often involve road closures and colder conditions.

The cabins and resort are a little slice of heaven. It is simply perfect and you can see the dedication of the owners in every detail of the cabin and grounds. The cabins are exceptionally comfortable and very well equipped with everything one could need. The grounds are gorgeous and it was such a treat seeing the geese, ducks and deer roaming about. Brooke was a fantastic host thst made you feel quite welcome. I cannot wait to stay again. The Haymoon Resort is a hidden gem that shouldn't be missed and I am grateful to have had the opportunity to spend a couple of nights there.

My wife and I knew we wanted to do a destination wedding and something outdoors in the mountains and trees. We luckily stumbled across this venue and could not have scored a better spot! This place was absolute stunning and worked amazing for the vibe we were going for. We loved the cozy cabin feel and overall atmosphere of this place. The cabins were well stocked and clean and we fell right at home. We also loved playing volleyball and cornhole on the stunning and picturesque property. Lastly and most importantly, Brooke was absolutely amazing and extremely accommodating as a host!

We had an absolutely spectacular time at the Haymoon Resort for our wedding in August 2025, and we could not recommend it enough to anyone considering planning a wedding or vacation here. For the wedding itself, the property is absolutely gorgeous with a well kept lawn and flowers everywhere! The Pavilion at Haymoon was a perfect place to host our wedding ceremony, reception and even outdoor yoga the morning before our wedding. We comfortably fit our group of 36 people, but there was plenty of room and equipment for more folks. In addition to the wedding venue, the cabins were spacious, spotless and well-equipped for our large group (we had 36 people with us), and we would definitely stay again! Finally, Brooke was incredibly communicative, helpful and flexible in the months leading up to the wedding and on the weekend itself. She absolutely made this a fantastic experience for us.Overall 15/10+ rating! We had an incredible time and highly recommend Haymoon for anyone looking for a special, unforgettable, unique wedding experience!PS - if you’re looking for an excellent photographer… Photos courtesy of Thewmatt Photography!
