Great atmosphere and location. The patio area and lobby were very cozy. Spa was great, the pool needs updating but sounds like they are doing that. The beds were so hard and uncomfortable we never got a good night's sleep. If they updated the rooms with new mattresses I would stay here again.

After a haring drive to Whitefish through mud construction roads, Grouse Mountain lodge was an oasis of calm, good vibes and mountain lodge comfort. Wonderful vaulted log ceiling entrance with big comfy lobby and outdoor fireplace seating. It was graciously dog friendly and the rooms were fantastic. Would love to come back and try the restaurant & golf some day.

After a long day of driving and my son's hockey game, I was so glad I had booked a night at Grouse Mountain Lodge instead of heading home to Missoula. My son and I had the gorgeous little outdoor hot tub to ourselves, which was just as amazing I remembered it from our last stay. The lobby was also cozy and pleasant, and the staff was great!Beds were comfortable and my son and I fell right to sleep. Unfortunately, at 2:50 am, a loud guest returned to their room next to ours, adjoining with a locked door in between. There was no way to sleep through her TV blaring and loud talking, so I told the night shift hotel staff. Though not easy, they resolved the situation, and were generous and kind in compensating us for the lost sleep. I also received follow-up calls from managers to apologize. Super sweet place and people.
