At the cafe and lodge, a wood-fired hearth and local art set a welcoming tone. Totchos feature crispy tots with melted cheese and a bright green onion finish, while jalapeño cornbread arrives warm with maple mascarpone for a sweet-heat contrast. Bison and elk burgers use Montana-sourced meat for a smoky, juicy bite, and Elk Chili Mac adds peppery depth. A gathering place for families and hikers to swap stories over shared tables.

Pretty good food stop just outside Yellowstone national Park. Tried the chili Mac n cheese and it hit the spot after a long day. The wings were also pretty solid with a nice crispy exterior and juicy inside. Huckleberry bbq and the garlic sauces were both worth a try. Get the dry rub with sauce on the side

Had dinner there, only one place in town open and had great reviews. You would not be disappointed. They have delicious brussel sprouts and Salmon with mashed potatoes and veggies. Everything was great, tasty, amazing service. Very creative menu. They have only beer and wine, no liquor. The only issue was the ventilation. Their kitchen is opening up to the dinning and people who sit right there on the bar and nearest tables get all that smell from the kitchen.

We just returned from spending four days in Gardiner, visiting Yellowstone. The town is not that big, so we hit most of the top-rated places to eat. By far... Wonderland was the best in town. They have a real chef and don't just heat up food. We were there for lunch and dinner. The soups were outstanding, and I had a spicy burger that was excellent. I also had the buffalo Ravioli. The place was great. At night, there was always a long wait, and this was in the off-season. I can see how both customers and staff all get tired. The best thing is to get on the wait list and walk across the street to the Blue Swan and have a couple of drinks. The best tip is to go early and enjoy a wonderful meal.
