Great picnic area. On the Marina it can get quite windy & hard to picnic but this pass creek is amazing its small but has a common sheltered area with many benches fire pits and even washroom. However in peak season it can get quite busy with less parking. The river beside it is the cherry on top the view are great and kids had lot of fun on river while we were preping meals. Over all highly recommend picnic area in Waterton. Follow for more.

Nice little place for a rest or picnic, went down to the river with my son and looked at all the different rocks and minerals washed down from the mountains. The rocks that line the area are also big chunks of ocean sediment from when the area was an ocean in the Paleozoic era 285 million years ago. Fun fact.

Lots of trees for shade. Shallow waters for family enjoyment. Picnic tables available on some spots. Indoor hall with tables. Great area. Not too crowded.
