I have NEVER written a bad restaurant review before, but I felt compelled in this case. I was appalled at how I was treated here. We moved to Whitefish in April and have loved the restaurant scene and how friendly the staff usually are, so this experience was a complete departure from everything else weβve experienced here. The greeting was fine, but everything went downhill after that. After waiting 40 minutes for a simple order of eggs and avocado toast, I only received half of my food. When I politely pointed this out, I was rudely told thatβs all I had ordered and repeatedly asked if there were two tickets or separate payments, which there were not. I was then told it was on two separate tickets, as if that were somehow my mistake. The issue wasnβt the mix-up, it was how it was handled. I wasnβt rude, I simply pointed out that part of my order was missing, yet I was made to feel like the problem. The food itself may be good, but it doesnβt matter. We will not return, nor would we recommend this place to anyone. As a small business owner myself, Iβm usually overly gracious to other small businesses because I understand the challenges. But I also know how crucial respect and kindness are to customer experience and that was completely absent here.

My first visit was Motherβs Day. Incredible menu, delicious food and too-notch service. The young owners were working hard with their sweet family in tow. A++++ if you havenβt been to Huckβs, put it at the top of your list!

It's all so good! We've had their berry & ricotta toast and the Italian toast and the tropical storm smoothie. Fresh ingredients. Loved it the first time that we came back, This time my husband got the Cubano. It is one of the BEST cubanos we've tasted (I HAD to have a bite). I'm even considering breaking my diet and getting one for myself the next time. Well done! π―
