About This Campground

Blue Ridge Wilderness Campground is a true backcountry destination requiring a Wilderness Use Permit and a 7.8–8.9 mile hike from Pine Springs Trailhead. Five primitive tent pads sit among ponderosa pine and Douglas fir forests, offering complete solitude and silence. This is primitive camping at its purest: no water, no toilets, no facilities—just designated tent pads and the discipline of carrying everything in and out. Come equipped for true Leave No Trace wilderness travel.
