Tipi glamping
This property suits families and travelers seeking outdoor adventures near Yellowstone. Dreamcatcher Tipi Hotel has 20 canvas tipis (built in 2016) that offer a true glamping experience with a nightly campfire and a dedicated fire pit at each unit. Bathrooms are private but located outside the tents, not inside the living space. Nights tend to be quiet with dark skies suitable for stargazing. Dogs up to 50 lbs are allowed with supervision; unattended dogs aren’t permitted. If you require bathrooms inside the unit or plan to bring larger dogs, this property may not fit. Seasonal operation runs May 8 through October 11, with check-in from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM and check-out at 10:00 AM.
May 8 - Oct 11
Real talk: it’s not a five-star hotel. It’s a riverfront glamping outpost with fireplaces and big skies. The vibe is magical and the 4.8 rating backs it up, but it isn’t silent and you won’t find in-room bathrooms in every unit. If you need a private bath, this won’t be your spot.
Light sleepers; those needing in-room bathrooms; significant mobility concerns.
Book in advance for peak season. Direct booking at dreamcatchertipihotel.com is fastest.

They had a campfire every night with s’mores, juice boxes, and alcohol for adults. The kids would all play together on the grounds and the adults would hang out around the fire and have so much fun! Our kids loved the tipi, the bathrooms were very clean and nice (which I appreciated the most), and the staff were down to earth and friendly. Also a great place to stay while visiting Yellowstone that is away from the crowd, small enough to be peaceful, yet has fun games and things for kids to do on the property! We highly recommend for a very memorable experience!

What a fun and unique experience! Our family loved staying at the Dreamcatcher Tipi Hotel. The room (tipi) was so cozy and comfortable and surprisingly spacious with a king bed and two twins. The beds provided a great night's sleep for our whole family, and the linens were very nice. We appreciated the space heaters, the coat rack and mirror, the lanterns, and the towels/washcloths. We also appreciated wagons to carry luggage to and from the car. Our kids were very excited about the provided water bottles. The bathrooms were SO clean--I was very impressed. And while they were busier in the morning, we never had to wait long. The s'mores and drinks in the evening were so fun (and generous), and we enjoyed talking to other guests. Breakfast was adequate for our family, and we really were sad to check out after our one night stay. I would highly recommend the Dreamcatcher Tipi Hotel to those who are up for something a little adventurous and enjoy a unique experience! Also, it's worth noting that it POURED overnight, and our tipi kept us nice and dry. Bad weather was not a problem!

We had stayed here from 29th to Oct 1st. The tipis are great, and the bathrooms were kept clean at all times. The breakfast was okay; I wish they had bagels/breads to toast. The coffee could be better. The staff was always working and kept everything going efficiently, but they could be a bit warmer. The person who checked us in was great, but she could be more friendly, especially since we had high expectations from the website and other reviews, but we understand that it is not easy to run a place like this especially when the staff is doing everything around the property. Overall, we had a great time, and we highly recommend staying here and making a memory that you will remember for a long time. - MTPS: We saw an elk/deer by our tent at night while going to the restroom.
