We stayed 3 nights. Gentleman that checked us in was not having a good day but other staff encountered were pleasant. The rooms are spacious and clean and a good value. Coffee, pastries, cereal, oatmeal available for breakfast. We had a king room but there are different types of accommodations. Very close to park entrance. Close to restaurants and amenities. Saw elk and deer in town. Parking was a bit of a challenge. Overall, a good choice.(it had already been recommended to us by another couple)

This hotel is a diamond in the rough. It is very nice, new, comfortable, clean and the staff is very attentive. If i could change one thing it would be to add shelves in the bathroom for customers toiletries. The bathroom is large but there is only a pedestal sink with a small glass shelf above it. We cleaned off the coffee bar and put our toiletries on it.Speaking of coffee, they do have single serving coffee pods but we prefer a tall pour of coffee so we didn’t use it. Instead, we used the coffee that they offer the tenants on a complementary basis, along with fresh danishes and oatmeal. We were perfectly satisfied with that. It was a only a short walk across the parking lot. There are very few good restaurants in the Gardiner area. If you like burgers every day, you’ll be fine. If you expect fine dining, there is one restaurant that we ate at that was very good with a good chef. The name of that restaurant is Wonderland. It is not what i would call fine dining but it is about as close as you will get in Gardiner. . For breakfast, we also ate at Paradise Deli which is a short walk/drive from the hotel. As we ate our breakfast, they also made us sandwiches to take with us in the park for lunch. They were good.

Overall, the hotel was clean and comfortable, with simple complimentary breakfast options and nice staff. The building layout is a bit unusual, as one section sits away from the front building - you’ll need to drive past a few regular houses to get there. One thing to note is that the outdoor lights attract a lot of small flies, and they will make their way inside whenever you open the door. The beds were comfortable and I would stay again. The only thing I don't understand is the $23 “resort fee,” that is not mentioned anywhere until you get to the front desk to check in. There is not really any amenities that would justify a resort fee.
