This is a great Motel! My husband and I were exhausted and had the best stay! It was very, very clean, the price was great, the bed was comfortable. The towels were regular human sized that wrap all the way around an average adult. They had a makeup towel, which every hotel room should have and a towel for spills. Also, they weren’t stingy with the pillows! I wish there was an Al’s in every town.

This is a great hotel! Right at the entrance of Yellowstone, you can literally cross the street and be on a trail or road into the park. Steps from Main St. where the restaurants, shops, museums, and live theater are. I stay at a lot of hotels and this was one of the cleanest I have been in. It has some cool Western artifacts in the Lobby and a great old school classic Yellowstone vibe.

I stayed here years ago with my family and it was decent so I chose it again. We stayed 2 different nights - Friday and Sunday over Labor Day weekend. The rooms were clean and comfortable, however, we were surprised that there were no ice machines on the premises and no microwave in the room, which hindered our meal plan, but we adjusted. The real issue was the girl at the front counter. She was downright unfriendly, and at points, rude both nights that we checked in. She exuded no friendliness or personality, not even a hint of a smile, or eye contact. She clearly just didn't want to be there. We were so ticked at her attitude and response after we pointed out that she was giving us a room on the 2nd floor, which we kindly asked that we not be given [as my bf is disabled] (we were not rude about it) and she did move is in the end, so there was availability, we decided we would not be staying here again. For the amount of money that it cost, we expected better customer service.
