Minutes from one of the Yellowstone National Park entrance gates in the bustling town of West Yellowstone. We loved our stay at the Explorer Cabins. The cabin itself was clean and comfortable. The kitchenette was outfitted with everything that you could need to make a simple meal or prepare things to bring with you including a fridge, microwave, two burners, ice machine, and a full coffee pot. S'mores kits, Yellowstone themed books and games were found within and made it felt really welcoming. We would highly recommend this to anyone, especially those with kids. The bunk beds were a novel inclusion for our daughter!
BROOKE TURNBOW
Ideal location, adequate for our needs as a family of 5. The pull out sofa bed was intolerably bad—our poor 12-year-old! Keep that in mind if booking for adults only—nobody wants to sleep on that thing! To claim it’ll sleep six is a real stretch! Other beds were very comfortable, however. It was frustrating when parking in our unit lot was full one evening—we had to park pretty far away from our cabin or trek through the woods separating our cabin from the alternative lot. I feel like they ought to have permits to avoid this. One other minor annoyance: the bathroom light does not work without a really loud fan also turning on. It was more obnoxious than you might think. Other than that, we truly loved our stay and experience! Clean, nice and cozy warm after cold days out in the park, and just a lovely little home base while exploring Yellowstone!

The cabins are beautiful. They are placed in such a way that they’re surrounded by pine trees that make you feel like you’re out in the wilderness but in reality you’re 50 steps away from a main street have all the amenities needed kitchen area fire pit for s’mores very nice. Only negative is is one of the clerks at the hotel where you register had a bad attitude. But the property itself highly recommend.
