Glacier Guides Lodge has 12 rooms with two queens and a full bath, plus a continental breakfast that actually shines. We take those. It sits 0.5 miles from the West Glacier entrance with park shuttle in-season. Prices swing from $199 off-peak to $359 at peak. A family-friendly, eco-base with WiFi and optional trail lunches.
Coffee verdict: Montana Coffee Traders shade-grown coffee is a solid starter. Drive time to the gate: 3 minutes. Leave by 7:30 AM to beat the crowds and hit the park early.

Look, it's a solid eco-lodge with a breakfast that actually shines and WiFi you can stream on. Huge value given the location; parking isn't on-site, which can be inconvenient if you're driving. LEED-certified and a short walk to West Glacier make it a strong base for Glacier adventures. If you need on-site parking or pet-friendly options, keep looking.

What a gem! Our room was clean and comfy, the location is perfect for quick entrance to West Glacier NP, and our host, Brian was extremely friendly and helpful. He answered all our recommendations questions and was spot on with information that ensured we had the perfect week in Glacier. We loved our backyard patio, the upstairs game room, and delicious breakfast. Highly recommended this adorable lodge. We can’t wait to come back!

We enjoyed our stay here and would stay again! The breakfast was delicious (seriously who knew breakfast burritos would be the highlight of our trip). Friendly staff and our room was perfect. It's close to the park and their rental equipment. We liked that it was close but not in the heart of the busy parts. Rooms are cozy and private! They have ice machines - perfect to fill up our camelback. They also give you bear spray to borrow. We would stay here again!!

We stayed at Glacier Guides Lodge for one night of a 10-day road trip and it was one of our two favorite accommodations from the trip. The rooms were wonderful, clean and had super-comfortable beds (and I saw deer wandering in the woods outside my window in the morning). Staff members at both check-in and breakfast (which had a nice amount of options) were super-nice and helpful, and the rooms also included information about local resources (restaurants, stores, etc.). The location is also hard to beat if you're visiting Glacier National Park, as it's less than 5 minutes from the west gate.
