Racist workers! Went in today with the intention of buying some hats with my family. We were standing around trying them on and Sharon walked past 3 of us white people and walked straight to my brown MIL asking her if she was waiting for someone. I said “we’re together” and she said “ohhhh okayyyy” With a very sarcastic and condescending tone. I told the lady at the counter who said “maybe she was trying to see if she needed help”. If that was the case she would’ve asked “do you need help” AND she would’ve ask the rest of us as well. This is what day to day racism looks like! It’s not always slurs, it’s assuming people don’t belong because they’re brown, and it’s also people trying to justify others comments to be anything other than what they are: discrimination and racism.

What a great store! Customers are made to feel so welcome!
