Fantastic experience staying at Kandahar lodge. The rooms were clean, interestingly designed (ours had an attic with beds in it) and airy. Though we didn't get a room with good view.Everything worked inside the room and was fairly well equipped. No funny smells. Clean beds.Breakfast is included and has reasonable amount of choices.The parking is tight on the premise but there is a large lot just across the street.Be mindful of the location though. We were there for 4 days and went to west entrance of Glacier NP. Each day it took about 50 minutes to get to the entrance. If there's traffic on the way, you are looking at 1 hour plus travel time to GNP. The route goes through Whitefish downtown which is a cute and quaint town but adds to travel time.

We originally had an Airbnb booked, but our elopement photographers were staying here and insisted we do our first look at the lodge — and wow, we’re so glad they did! It looked like something straight out of a Hallmark movie. We ended up canceling our Airbnb that same night and booking a room here instead!The fireplace was so cozy, and the little bar inside made for such fun nightcaps. The staff was incredibly accommodating — they took us in with no notice, replaced a hair dryer right away when it broke, and were so kind about letting us take photos around the property. We’ll definitely be back in Montana again, and when we are, we’re absolutely staying here! ❤️🏔️
