The hotel itself was decent. The room had a funky kind of odor but was alright for one night. The reason I am giving such a low rating would have to be for customer service. On October 2nd around 5 pm I walk in to check in and rather than being greeted when I say hi, the lady shushes me with her fingers and says "just hold on" as she finishes texting on her phone, takes her meds then turns to ask me what I want like I was the problem. She was rude anytime I asked a question and basically didn't do her job, was mostly on her phone.

The location at this hotel is great. It's located right off highway 93. The rooms are comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. The amenities in this hotel include a game room, a laundry room, an outdoor pool, and a fitness center. There are also computers to use in the lobby. Free coffee is available in the lobby as well. The hotel is located close to a Safeway supermarket, McDonald's, and Ace hardware, and a few other stores that might be useful for travelers..The complimentary breakfast is much like every other Best Western. The menu changes day by day but only slightly. The usual fare is eggs, scrambled, bacon or sausage, potatoes. There are two waffle machines as well. Some pastries and coffee. There's also fruit in yogurt. Cold cereals. Toast and bagels.Glacier National Park is about a 40-minute drive from the hotel. We noticed this hotel is very popular with tour groups. Buses of tourists and adventurers stay here on a regular basis. To us, that means the hotel tour agencies seem to get along very well and have a symbiotic business relationship with each other. That says a lot about the quality of service the hotel provides. We would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Rocky Mountain Lodge! It's got all the amenities that count like a comfy bed, a good shower, and all the small appliance conveniences you could want (hello, mini fridge!).The breakfast bar was delicious and not the usual carb-fest. It featured delicious coffee and protein choices like bacon & eggs. All the front-desk employees were friendly and helpful and gave us some great info about Glacier. The hotel shuttle was a nice perk. Important to note: downtown Whitefish is 2 miles from this hotel and there's a SuperOne grocery store directly across the street. We will definitely be back next time we're in town!
