We stayed here three nights in the duplex 1940 cabins. It was a great location inside the East entrance with easy access to the sites and trails. The restaurant and general store on site made our trip so much better

Our favorite place to camp when in Glacier. FCFS no reservations. Tent camping and nothing larger than a class B.

Our family stayed in 2 small but nice cabins that were built in 1941. We had our own bathrooms and a large wooden storage cabinet. The whole area was quiet with great views of the mountains.Rising Sun has a good restaurant called Two Dog Flats with very tasty and healthy food options with moderate to high prices. The picnic area across the road was closed because a mother bear and cub had been visiting there. There is a camp store with some basic food, camping supplies and gifts. All of the prices in the store are extremely high! So be sure to stock up on everything before hand. The staff at Rising Sun is very helpful and friendly.
